AP with internal antenna, for uniform campus networks!
As an increasing number of mobile devices and Internet of Things (IoT) devices depend on wireless access, networks must be tailored to a diverse mix of device types, applications and services. Aruba 510 Series campus access points with 802.1ax technology efficiently provide high-performance access to multiple clients and device types in problematic high-density environments, increasing data transfer speeds for both individual devices and the entire system. The 510 Series supports a maximum data transfer rate of 4.8 Gbps in the 5 GHz band and 575 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band, ideal for high-density environments such as schools, retail chains, hotels and corporate branch offices. In addition to standard 802.11ax performance features, the 510 Series supports unique features such as Aruba ClientMatch radio management and additional radios for site services and IoT applications, delivering an unmatched user experience in today's all-wireless digital work environment.
The 510 series access points offer high-performance 802.11ax dual radio with OFDMA and Multi-User MIMO (MU-MIMO). Supports all required and multiple optional 802.11ax features. This series offers maximum data transfer speeds of 4.8 Gbps in the 5 GHz band and 575 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band (for a total peak data speed of 5.4 Gbps). Includes Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Zigbee radios for location and IoT use cases.
Improved efficiency
- Aruba 510 Series Campus Access Points efficiently serve multiple clients simultaneously, increasing data transfer rates for both individual devices and the overall system.
- Multi-user transmission via downlink and uplink OFDMA increases user data speeds and reduces latency, especially for large numbers of devices with short frames or low data speed requirements, such as voice and IoT devices.
- Multi-user functionality with downlink multi-user MIMO improves network capacity by allowing multiple devices to transmit simultaneously.
- Because higher-power 802.11ax access points consume more power, the Aruba NetInsight GreenAP feature enables 510 Series access points to consume less power when not in use, such as in the evening when buildings are empty.
Powerful
- Aruba ClientMatch technology in the Aruba 510 Series Campus Access Point will automatically attempt to group 802.11ax-enabled devices on available APs with equivalent performance characteristics.
- The performance benefits of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) are maximised. This ultimately means higher network performance and significantly more network efficiency.
- The 510 Series uses ArubaOS 8 AirMatch (machine learning technology) to automatically optimise the performance of a wireless network by fine-tuning the radio frequencies (RF) of access points.
- The access points are powered by ArubaOS 8, which provides always-on networking through features such as LiveUpgrade, controller clustering and seamless fail-over.
IoT-capable
- Aruba 510 Series Campus Access Points help you prepare your network for the Internet of Things (IdD).
- 802.11ax technology offers unique benefits for IoT devices, such as reserved channels in OFDMA that allow IoT connections to transmit simultaneously with low latency, and power saving options with Target Wake Time (TWT) to extend battery life.
- The 510 Series supports integrated Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE) and Zigbee radio, as well as a USB port for maximum flexibility to provide secure and reliable connectivity for IoT devices and location services implementation.
